Halton’s garbage tag program

Learn all about Halton Region’s garbage tag program.

Starting April 1, 2013, Halton residents may place 3 garbage bags/cans or less at the curb every other week.  More than 3 garbage bags/cans will require a “garbage tag,” up to a total of 6 garbage bags/cans maximum (3 untagged, 3 tagged).

Got a big sticker on my fourth bag of garbage today – a bag that I had tagged properly with the bag tag. Please pay attention!!!
