National Sweater Day

Thursday, February 9, 2012 was National Sweater Day, a day organized by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) encouraging all Canadians to take action against climate change by turning down the heat in their homes, schools and businesses.

The HaltonRecycles team, and other Halton Region Waste Management Services staff, were happy to participate, donning sweaters hidden in the back of closets, or purchased specially for the occasion from local reuse centres.
